The 1. Work Package Leader Meeting of the CAROTS consortium took place in Copenhagen on 11-12 June 2019.

The meeting was hosted by the project partner The Capital Region of Denmark/Region Hovestaden. Next to sharing the latest status of each of the CAROTS work packages participants reached a common ground defining the features of the new type of SME, Commercial Analytical Research Organisations (CARO), the project aims to establish.

External input was provided by Jakob Øster (The Capital Region of Denmark/Region Hovestaden) on the LINX Association, a non-profit organisation and platform for linking industry to neutrons and x-rays as well as by Erik Bergvall, a representative from Tetra Pak, one of the industry partners of LINX.
