The CAROTS Project Partners gathered for a 2nd meeting in Riga on 1-2 October 2019

The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) hosted the meeting and gave all project partners insight into the Latvian landscape of intermediary companies bridging the gap between academia and industry. Practical insight was given by Andris Anspoks of the Institute of Solid State Physics of the University of Latvia, home of the intermediary company “Materize”: a platform for industry collaboration and innovation for making scientific expertise beneficial to business.

CAROTS’ new associated partner STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory introduced itself with a presentation by Graham Appleby.
