On 16 February 2021 a meeting of the CAROTS consortium took place online. The Lithuanian Innovation Centre (LIC) hosted the meeting and gave all project partners a short virtual tour of Vilnius.

The partners looked at the results of the application phase of the first CAROTS Startup School. From 1st December 2020 to 31st January 2021 scientists and engineers who work as researchers at a university or other research institution could apply for one of ten places at the school. Discussed was also the rollout of a webinar programme teaching everything worth knowing to take the jump from scientist to entrepreneur as well as individual coaching sessions with some of Europe’s leading CEOs of Scientific Service Companies starting at the end of March.
